Earning money online in 2025 is easier than you think. There are uncountable ways of earning, each having its advantages and trends. These methods belong to different fields, each requiring different levels of hard work.
Today we will be discussing a rather easy and convenient method of earning simply called blogging. It does not require any investment, other than time, of course.
It usually requires 15 to 20 minutes daily, but the more time you give it, the more fruitful it will become.
Disclaimer: Blogging does not promise instant money, and your first paycheck can take more than a whole year to come. This method is 100% genuine and does not contain any shady or illegal stuff. Restrictions on you will be a result of your own mistake or misunderstanding. So, read carefully.
1. Create a Blogger or WordPress Free Site
First of all, create a Blogger or WordPress account. But at the start, a blogger is recommended. Go to Blogger.com and click on ‘Create Your Blog’.
After signing up with your e-mail, it will take you to an interface, where you will select the name of your blog. The name can be changed later on if you get a better idea.
After selecting the name, choose the URL or link for your blog. Consider for example we choose our URL to be ratingword, then the URL that we get will be ratingword.blogger.com Choose your URL wisely as it cannot be changed.
After this, you will be taken to the homepage of your blog.
Note: Select a specific category or niche for your blog. It is recommended that you only post articles and customize your blog according to the niche.
2. Customizing Blog
You can customize your blog by changing its theme. If you don’t find the theme options suitable with respect to your niche or your taste, you can add custom themes to your blogger.
It is suggested that you choose a theme from the ones available on the blogger website because they are highly customizable. After selecting a theme, scroll to the top and click on Customize.
You can change the background image and the main color theme. After making any changes, click the save button present at the right, bottom side of the page.
3. Adding Posts to the Blog
Starting Guide:
Before adding a post on any topic, make sure that it’s relevant to your niche. You cannot just write an article and post it to your blog. There is a whole process. Don’t get stressed because once understood, the whole process will take only 10-15 minutes.
a- Go to Google News
First of all, go to Google News. Click on the category ‘Technology’ or any other category based on your niche. Find any topic or article that you find interesting. Consider, for example, the smartphone Oppo A5. The words ‘Oppo A5’ are your targeted keywords.
You write a post to rank for this keyword on Google. Ranking it on Google is your primary goal. When someone searches Oppo A5, Google will display your article to him.
b- Seeing the Difficulty and Search Volume of Targeted Keyword
Go to SemRush.com– Enter your keyword in the top-most search bar and hit enter. A new page will be shown to you.
Search volume means the average amount that the keyword gets searched. So, the search volume for our keyword is almost 10k in Pakistan and 225k in the whole world.
So, it’s a good keyword and fulfills the first criteria of being an ideal keyword to rank for, being that ‘Search Volume should be more than 5k‘.
The second criterion is that ‘Keyword should have a difficulty 1 to 20’.Our targeted keyword does not fulfill this criteria, so we drop it. Scroll down a little and you will see other keywords related to our targeted keyword.
The keyword ‘Oppo A5 price in Pakistan‘ fulfills both our criteria. So, we will write an article on it.
c- Writing an Article on The Keyword
Go back to Google News and copy all the specifications of Oppo A5. Or you can go to Google and search ‘Specifications of Oppo A5’ and copy them from there.
After this go to ChatGPT, paste the specifications and write the following prompt or simply paste it:
These are the specifications of _____ . Rewrite these using only simple words and active voice. Write only facts and not compliments.
After entering the specifications and the prompt, ChatGPT will write the article for you.
Note that the article will be on the specifications only. Our targeted keyword requires another thing. We also need to write the price of Oppo A5 in Pakistan which can be easily found using Google.
d- Check the AI Score of the Written Article
Go to the AI Content Detector of Quillbot. It will give human-written and AI-generated percentages. Human-written should be 85% plus. Otherwise, the article would not get ranked.
e- Publish Article
Come back to your blog and click on ‘+ New Post’. The targeted keyword will be your article’s title. Paste the text. Also, add a few images (taken easily from Google). Click on Publish and your article has been published successfully.
4. Getting Posts Indexed on Google
Go to Google Search Console. Click on Start Now and get your blog added to the Google database. After the home of the search console pops up, click on the inspect URL bar at the top and paste the link of the published article.
Click on Test Live URL and after loading completes, click on Request Indexing. Now, Google knows that you have an article written on Oppo A5 and it can show it to people searching for it.
Your article will be ranked at different positions based on its content quality.
5. Earning Through The Blog
a- Getting Your Blog Adsense Approved
It is the hardest step of the operation. Go to Google Adsense. Sign up and fill out the form. After that, apply for AdSense approval.
It is recommended that you should at least post 100 articles before applying for AdSense. That is what makes this job hard. But once you get approved, you can earn easy cash because of ads displayed on your blog.
b- Guest posting
You can also add promotional posts to your blog and earn from them.his method is only achievable when someone interested in the promotion of his product or service contacts you.
c- Selling the Blog
Selling the blog after growing it and getting it AdSense-approved is another option. This method is called flipping.
Free websites with .blogger.com or .wordpress.com URLs have no value. Therefore, flipping is useless. However, flipping can only be utilized if your website has a proper .com or .org URL. This requires buying a domain and hosting.
Therefore, earning through AdSense is currently the best option for blogger users.
