First, go to Google Gemini. You should be logged in to carry out the process. Click on the ‘+’ button and insert the image you want to fix. After that, type in the prompt ‘generate me a high resolution version of this image with no blur’.
After one or two minutes, Gemini will create a high-resolution version of the image. However, the process is not complete yet. We need to remove the Gemini logo from the bottom right corner of the photo.
There are two ways to do this. If you are on a mobile phone, open the default editor of your gallery, select the color of the surroundings, and remove the Gemini logo using a brush.
You can use Microsoft Paint for the same purpose on PCs and Laptops. You don’t need heavy software like Adobe Photoshop or online editors like Canva for this simple job.
Limitations of Gemini
In many cases, Gemini may not work properly. To work, the main object in your image should be distinguishable and a real-life object. Otherwise, Gemini would not be able to fix it properly.
For example, we took an image of an eagle and entered the same prompt into Gemini, but it wasn’t able to fix it, as it’s not a real-life object.
Other Applications
Gemini can be used for many other image editing-related things. Like the exact opposite, blurring or pixelization of a high-quality image, modifying objects in the picture, changing the background of the image, adjusting the lighting of the image, etc.
Remember, the number of image generations on a free Gemini account is limited. So use it wisely.
