Display & Design
The X200 series is significantly different from its predecessor. The design is much more refined compared to the X100.
The front of the X200 Pro has a Quad Curved 6.78-inch display. Although it has that Quad Curved name, the actual feel seems flatter on this iteration. Thin bezels around the screen are at just 1.63mm on all sides.
Equipped with an LTPO panel, the display can dynamically change its refresh rate up to 120Hz for seamless performance. Outdoor visibility is also great, with a peak brightness of 4,500 nits and Dolby Vision for better visuals.
Camera
Both devices showcase a primary shooter housing Sony’s LYT-818 sensor. The 1/1.28-inch image-capturing unit, augmented by the V3+ imaging processor similar to the one in the X100 Ultra, features a main lens paired with a custom-made f/1.57 aperture. Optical Precision Calibration, likely Vivo’s version of OIS, enhances this setup.
Although technically smaller than the 1-inch sensor from the X100 Pro series, Vivo claims this fresh setup not only rivals its precursor in terms of photography but also eclipses it in videography.
Both devices have the ability to shoot 4K HDR Cinematic Portrait videos. Vivo asserts this as the industry-leading feature. The video versatility extends further with options like 4K recording at 120fps. which is ideal for slow-motion capture, or 4K HDR Dolby Vision at 60fps for awe-inspiring, high-dynamic-range output.
An outstanding hallmark of the X200 Pro is its 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto camera, a feature identical to the formidable unit found in the X100 Ultra. This telephoto lens offers an 85mm focal length (3.7x optical zoom) and a luminous f/2.67 aperture.
The X200 Pro mini, while still commendable. opt for a 50MP 1/1.95-inch sensor alongside a 70mm f/2.6 lens, providing 3x optical zoom capabilities.
The 50MP f/2.0 ultrawide camera with autofocus and the 32MP f/2.0 front-facing camera, perfect for capturing high-resolution selfies, complete the camera array on both models.
Battery
The X200 Pro series introduces Vivo’s cutting-edge third-generation Silico Anode battery technology. It enables both models to feature significantly larger battery capacities. The X200 Pro has an impressive 6,000 mAh battery, while the more compact X200 Pro mini incorporates a 5,700 mAh unit.
Despite the size difference, both devices share the same charging capabilities, offering 90W wired charging and 30W wireless charging.
